Have you ever had the experience of dreaming you are dreaming? It's very strange to experience, and yet for some time now I have been dreaming of dreaming, and every dream features a hawk in a place I wouldn't expect a Hawk to be. Perhaps I am creatively dreaming, or maybe everyone dreams this way, but it is a little unsettling.
I decided to face it by making art with my dream. I haven't got it exact as it was a dream with flowers that I cannot remember the type of, so this is sunflowers instead, with hints of blossoms in the background distance.
I painted this collage work in Studio Artist and then photoshop CS 6 to try and get a substantial and yet dreamy appearance. I wasn't seeking a realistic impression, rather simply impressionism bordering on expressionism.
